At Epic Boardsports, we offer lessons for most levels, ensuring a fun and safe experience. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to hone your technique, we’ve got you covered. We have three blocks for you to choose. If you pre book extra lessons, you can save on the full course. For riders who only want to dip their toes, you can take lessons in two-hour increments. We do two-hour blocks but some lessons can extent to three or four hours for the day if conditions are right.
Level 1: Beginner Wing Foil Lessons Cocoa Beach
If you’ve never wing foiled before, this is the lesson for you. Our beginner lessons are designed to build your confidence and skills step by step:
- Introduction to wing foiling gear (wing, board, and foil).
- Learning how to handle the wing on land.
- Water practice: Balancing, wing control, and your first attempts to fly!
- Safety tips specific to Cocoa Beach, including wind direction and local conditions.
What to expect hours 1 - 2: Not everyone is up and riding the first lesson. we'll spend the day teaching you the fundamentals of wing control and give you the foundation needed. We find most riders need about 3 to 4 lessons before they are up on a foil. That said, many riders do 3 lessons with us and feel comfortable branching out on their own to progress.
Duration: 2 hour block
Price: $300 per person

What to expect hours 2 - 4: The second lesson is where things get more exciting. Some riders are now learning to stand on the board and ride back and forth. Not yet on foil but controlling the wing and making turns.
Duration: 4 hours
Price: $285 per block if you book two blocks in advance.
Level 3: Wing Foil Lessons Cocoa Beach
What to expect hours 4 - 6: This is where many riders find things click. You'll feel confident riding on the board, generating power and speed with your wing and learn how to turn. Some riders find they are taking their first foil flight in this stage while others are still working on the basics. Regardless most find they know enough to branch out and practice on their own after this lesson.
Duration: 6 hours
Price: $275 per two-hour block if you book 3 blocks in advance.

By independent we mean competent to learn on their own but not always on foil. Not everyone is up and riding on the foil this fast, but you'll gain the fundamentals needed to progress quickly.
