At first, I thought brands like Armstrong Foils that committed to backwards compatibility were refreshing and the future of the sport. But, as time has gone on, that commitment has led to some brands being unable or unwilling to address design problems. More specifically, you can evidence this by the increasing amount of hardware needed to secure modern, high-aspect wings. Simplicity meets functionality with Code Foils. Their foil kits are designed for easy assembly with only six bolts, reducing potential issues like seizure, corrosion, or shear. As well, Code Foils overall stiffness from the design addresses problems like twist created when a hexagonal fitment from a foil like Armstrong wear and round over time leading to excessive slop and twist.

Hydrodynamics

For many brands, high-modulus carbon is reserved for their premium kits or after-market purchase (not included with their base kits).  Code Foils takes that build quality a step further with their + or Plus series masts. These masts are ultra high modulus carbon made for bigger/ heavier riders or riders riding high-aspect "spanny" wings.

One of the standout features of Code Foils is their simplicity. With only six bolts required for assembly, they are easy to care for and maintain. This design minimizes the risk of seizure, corrosion, and shear, giving you peace of mind whether you’re in saltwater or freshwater environments.

Versatility

Given that many riders now participate in many different foiling disciplines, being able to swap out wings, tails, and fuselages quickly has become more of a priority. With a brand like Armstrong, to change the fuselage, you must detach the tail and front wings, then slide the fuselage out. Code foils uses extensions to create an overall fuselage length. These are sold in S, M, and L and are half the price of an Armstrong fuselage as well. To swap out from a medium to large fuse, you need only to detach the extension from the front wing and/change your tail.
